Parking Oops

I borrowed Mom's car Monday because mine was in the shop. She called me this morning as she got into her car to say that I left my parking permit in her car! By the time she got to the parking lot, I had already been ticketed and from what I hear they don't take stories. Basically I just accept that I messed up and pay the Piper. At least the ticket was less than I expected. Oh well these things happen sometimes.

Now I just have fork over the funds. For some reason they don't say when I have to pay it by, but it looks like I can pay it online in about 10 days.

What is the Stupid Train Run?

Regular commuters will know it as we've all done it from time to time. Running late just enough that if you sprint, you'll catch that train, but wait... Those leather, hard-soled shoes are from cross-trainers. Suite pants are not suitable running attire either. Don't forget the briefcases and lunch bags waiting you down. So the result is this goofy looking run. Oh, and there are bunch of people watching you too. But like I said, it all happens to us at one time or another.
