Quiet for a Full Moon

There is usually something about a full moon that brings out the strange behavior in people. Considering we’re mostly made of water and the moon affects the tides, I’m sure there’s a correlation. Even if you don’t buy into the hocus-pocus, just pay attention to the world around you during the next full moon.

This round things were pretty quiet. Maybe that was because today was day 3 of the phase. The only really strange thing was the girl sitting next to me on the way home. When I woke up a few times I found her sleeping half bent over. Not that sleeping sitting up is particularly comfortable, but how anyone can sleep bent over at the waist is beyond me. Wouldn’t you end up with a stomach ache or heart burn? All I can say is that I did a massive double-take when I looked over.

What is the Stupid Train Run?

Regular commuters will know it as we've all done it from time to time. Running late just enough that if you sprint, you'll catch that train, but wait... Those leather, hard-soled shoes are from cross-trainers. Suite pants are not suitable running attire either. Don't forget the briefcases and lunch bags waiting you down. So the result is this goofy looking run. Oh, and there are bunch of people watching you too. But like I said, it all happens to us at one time or another.
